What norms should be followed for the installation of a fresh air exchanger? How to reduce noise

The fresh air exchanger is a reasonable air purification system that can create a circulation system for indoor air quality. Its key function is to expel the stale air inside the room to the outside. On the other hand, it takes fresh air from outside, undergoes sterilization, disinfection, and filtration, and then returns it into the room, ensuring that the room is always filled with fresh and clean air. However, if the fresh air exchanger is not installed properly, it will be harming the home.

After the installation of the fresh air exchanger, noise removal treatment should be carried out on time. Because if the treatment is not done, the noise will be transmitted into the room through the pipeline, endangering daily life.

2. When installing the fresh air exchanger, there is no need to add three-way fittings to the pipelines. They can be connected in series at will. Since the conventional household fresh air system is equipped with a distribution box during assembly, the pipelines are connected from the distribution box to each room. At the same time, there are electric regulating valves on the distribution box to ensure that the air velocity transported to each room is in line with the total area of the room and the number of residents, and the exhaust volume is stable.

If the fresh air exchanger is not reliably installed, it is necessary to directly lead out the main pipeline from the server, install a three-way pipeline on the main pipeline, and connect it to each room to form a pipeline connection system. The problem caused is that the room close to the main pipeline has strong wind, and the fresh air exchanger gets farther and farther away, the exhaust volume becomes smaller and smaller until no air enters.

3. During the installation period of the fresh air exchanger, do not make any holes in the roof beams at will. Because if the pipeline runs under the beam, it will definitely affect the appearance. But if it passes through the beam, it will affect the load-bearing structure of the building and make it a dangerous building.

4. When installing the fresh air exchanger, it is necessary to prevent the ceiling decoration from affecting the floor height. The normal household fresh air system uses 160mm pipes, but such thick pipes are installed on the roof and then decorated with the ceiling decoration, which will definitely affect the floor height. Therefore, many stores will reduce the pipe diameter when installing and using it, and apply pipe diameters of 120mm or even smaller. The problem that arises in this way is that the air pressure increases, the sliding friction force rises, the noise increases, and it will also immediately affect the supply and exhaust air volume.

5. Install the fresh air exchanger. The air intake of the fresh air exchanger should not be close to the source of odors. If the air intake is close to the source of odors, the fresh air system will have a strong odor. Therefore, when installing, make sure the air intake is on the upwind side and avoid the source of odors at the same time. The distance between the air intake and exhaust ports of the fresh air exchanger should be at least 80 to 100cm to prevent the just-discharged air from being sent back into the room.
